We tend to represent the woman more by the feminine beauty of her body than by what she exudes as a warrior. No matter what she experiences, a woman will always remain standing.
Karine Finet
An artist who recruits...
Karine spent her childhood in the international capital of comic strips, Angoulême.
Today she lives in Beaujolais with her family on a small farm.
Positive and joyful in nature, creation is part of her daily life while exercising her profession in the medecine and social sector.
From 2019 to 2022, the social context made her job difficult. It was during this period that she decided to draw amazons that she called “her recruits”.
Warrior women, Karine’s amazons will become the guardians of her fears, her anxieties but above all her strength.
First on social networks, her recruits appeal to the general public, commissions for paintings push her to use the techniques and know-how that she had acquired but above all as a self-taught artist.
Marked faces, determined looks, Karine expects her portraits of women to release an energy of strength because according to her: “We tend to represent the woman more by the feminine beauty of her body than by what she exudes as a warrior outstanding no matter what she experiences, a woman will always remain standing”
Today, a full-time artist, she exhibits and sells, hoping that each of her recruits will raise awareness among both women and men through their energies.
